How strict is the interview process for Go Abroad China's internships? I'm applying for a finance role and want to know how competitive it is and if GAC provides prep help.

The interview depends on the host company, but GAC definitely helps. They set up a prep session with me before my finance internship interview in Shanghai, which was huge. The company interview itself was professional but fair—they just wanted to see if I was serious and had basic knowledge. GAC's support made it much less intimidating

It's competitive for top-tier placements like the Fortune 500 companies GAC works with. My advice is to be clear on your goals in your application. GAC will coach you, but you need to put in the work to prep for the technical questions. It’s worth it though—getting a finance role in Shanghai through them was a major career win.

Yes, GAC provides interview prep as part of their career coaching. They helped me structure my answers and understand what the host companies look for. My interview for a marketing internship was via Zoom and focused on my skills and adaptability. It felt very supported, not like I was thrown in alone.
