Architecture for Cardiff offers

Hey! Thats so weird! I was predicted a AAAA and got an offer for minimum AAB with a B in Art? i didnt know that conditional offers fluctuate

That's so strange! Are you a Welsh national?- Im England/Germany so am assuming that they have had loads of applicants anyway

Im not sure I am a Uk national because i have a passport so im a home student but I live in spain and have a spanish passport too idk. im definetly not welsh. I submitted my application on the 8th of january and got an offer the 13th.

What did people get offered to study architecture in Cardiff (undergraduate)? - I got offered AAA but am being predicted AAB, I'm mildly disappointed as they didn't request a portfolio either. I just wanted to see what other people were offered and/or if they will accept me on lower grades.
Also- If I get A*AB do the grades even out to AAA?

It will depend on how many places are left on results day once Cardiff has accepted all offer holders that meet their grades. They would then look at near-miss students to fill any places. For unis that offer in grades (not UCAS points), A*AB would not meet an AAA offer and you would be counted as a near miss.

Im predicted A*BBC and I have also done EPQ in yr12, n Cardiff offered me AAB/ ABB with A in EPQ! (Btw also I’m not Welsh as well, if that helps lol)

Before I got my offer, I emailed Cardiff Admissions and asked why they haven't requested a portfolio after weeks of submitting, they replied back (after they gave an offer to me lol) saying for the BSc Architecture course, they only request portfolios from applicants who are not taking an A level in an Art subject. My offer is AAB (predicted A*AA with A* achieved in EPQ).

What subjects do you all do?
Ive always wanted to go into architecture but did Biology, DT and Geography- they don't link too well but I was good at them or enjoyed them lol (I was NOT doing maths or physics, I think I'd die😭)
