For ACs im not really sure on what advice I can give as ive always just gone with the flow of things and stayed relaxed. Maybe when it comes to the case studies I tend to use a structure. Most case studies are emails so I always go in with my structure first before reading any material. I.e. ill look at the questions and then go to the written section and write in "Dear Manager (or client or if you have the name even better). Hope you are well! I have compiled a list of answers to your queries below." Then I title each question they want answered into seperate sections. It shows organisation and formatting as well as professionalism, at the end I add "if you require anymore information, do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards, my name."
Only after doing my format do I go and look at the data provided to me and answer as best I can, I try to go for minimal detail at first for each section to ensure every section is answered and then if I have time go back and add more information. It is better to answer all of them with few details than only some in great detail and miss out an entire question I have found. Especially if you have a really short time limit like with BDO or Grant Thornton. With EY they give you more time so expect a greater level of detail.
With group exercises I have never opted to be a leader in the group, it can work but sometimes you balance on a fine line between leadership and competitiveness so I just choose not to do it. Most people beat me to the mark anyway. Ive never done time keeper either, its good if no one offers to do it but I prefer to focus on the discussion. My go to is to always comment even if I have nothing to add. Someone had a good idea? Great back them up and say "i think ... idea is great because it does this or shows this so we should definitely keep it in consideration" or if you disagree "I think thats a good idea but I am worried about the implications it may have on ... " so even though you are not actively providing ideas you are still contributing and providing discussion. Its a great tactic if you feel like you're clueless and have no ideas to add, that was me in the EY one! If you do have an idea though of course contribute it but think of some downsides to it as well if possible, I find they like it when you provide your own downsides as it shows critical thinking "how about we implement this strategy to improve this specific part? lf we did though I am worried about the implications on this part of the business, does anyone have any ideas on how to combat that with this strategy or is it too much of a disadvantage to continue considering?" You are also involving others in your thought process.

I have a TAX London Internship offer,
How long did it take you to get access to the Joiners form and confidentiality & independence form?
I'm worried about the 14 day acceptance period as it's already been 4 days..

You dont get those until like June. Theyre not gonna start onboarding this early because your details will likely change and many dont have their degree outcomes yet so wouldn't be able to provide them. I didnt accept my offer until a week after they sent it to me

Nah you have 14 days to reply so even if you waited till the 13th day to reply theyre not going to say anything or take back the offer. If anything its better you wait, shows you're actively thinking it over and reading the contract to determine its right for you
