I've been given my predicted grades and have applied to my chosen universities and will be deferring the offers as I plan on going travelling next year. I'm very interested in doing a degree apprenticeship, however most of them have start dates of September 26, and I was wondering if I could apply for degree apprenticeships a year in advance (like the unis) or should I be applying during my gap year next year?
Best thing would be to call them up to ask about their programme, and see if they accept entry for next year. Applying during your gap year seems like the better option, though.

You can't apply for a degree apprenticeship a year in advance but you can apply to as many as you want during the gap year, assuming you have time alongside you're travelling. You just have to make sure you're in the UK when it comes time for in person AC and Interviews.
