Fear that my coursework will flag as ai

I'm finishing up on my edexcel igcse english lit coursework, which was entirely written by me. I've always had top grades in English, always being ahead of other people my age in reading and writing, and i've had this constant fear that it will flag as AI. I'm constantly refining my work, looking at the marking scheme, so it can be as perfect as possible and (because i'm autistic) I worry that my writing comes across as 'too polished' or even slightly robotic. I know my writing is capable of a grade 9, but now i'm afraid that I will be disqualified for my own work. Does anyone know how they scan for AI, and if I should be worried?

One thing is, DO NOT POST YOUR POST ANYWHERE!!!!!!! Tools may look for matchign psots and they may claim you stole your work from the internet.

Yess, I would never post it for people to see, I'm already anxious enough, and I don't want to add onto it 😂. I really shouldn't be so anxious since it's all original work, but i've always had anxiety anyway, and i've heard so many horror stories lol.

One thing is the m-dash. It's used all the time when AI writes. It is a hyphen that takes up the same size on your screen as the letter m. Humans use the n-dash, which is the same, but takes up the size of the letter n. AI loves the m-dash.

YES, I use the n-dash, so perhaps that could be proof?

The n-dash could be proof of human creation, but don't go tellign them that it's not AI as they'll get suspicious. I here what you're saying about your work, I'm Autisitic as well and sometimes I sound robotic even in writing. lol

If you haven't used AI it shouldn't flag as AI. You can't "accidentally" use AI in your coursework so if you know you haven't, then you haven't.

Okay, I guess it’s silly for me to worry, but since it’s all you hear teachers talk about, I can’t help it. But you’re right, it realistically shouldn’t flag up.

The teachers talk about it a lot because they know a lot of students use it when they shouldn't! As long as you've not used it though you're fine
