What makes a good personal statement and CV for Oxford postgrad (Law)?

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of finalising my BCL application (deadline next week) and wanted to get some opinions on two things:
1. CV format - how do I structure the CV? I'm unsure how detailed it should be and what they tend to prioritise. I am also unsure as to why to actually focus on and include. I also have a couple of publications and academic awards, and I'm not sure whether they should be front or centre or at the end sort of thing?

2. Personal statement - what sort of things do I focus on here? Is it more about academic interests and future plans, or demonstrating suitability for the BCL specifically (style of teaching, tutorials, etc.)? Any insight into tone/ structure would be really helpful.

Any other tips would be really appreciated as well. I can give more details if necessary, just lmk.
