A level stress optometry offer

Hey so I’ve got an offer from Aston Uni and City St George to study Optometry I have contextual offer BBB but I’m really scared for my A levels . What if I don’t get the grades I need, the unis would obviously reject me on results day right.

Not necessarily. It would depend on whether there were any spaces left on the course and how close you were to your offer compared to other near misses.

not necessarily some unis do give spaces if there’s a lot left over and if you miss it by one grade they may give it and even if you miss you can always go through clearing although city don’t have clearing most of the time for optometry as they didn’t last year either Aston may I’ve applied to Hertfordshire foundation as a back up

Just stay focussed on your A levels now that you have offers. Each year is different and sometime they may drop a grade and still accept you even if you miss a grade but sometimes if other people have met the requirements they may not. Each year group is different. Well done of obtaining offers and now remain focussed on those A levels and remain on target to get those grades
