Hello,
Can I (presettled status holder 3+ years) apply for full finance as durable partner of someone with settled status? Is marriage/civil partnership a must?
Lived with partner for over 3 years and have a child together?

Can you confirm if you're applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course? Can you confirm you nationality and your partner's nationality? Are you married? Do you hold any qualifications currently?

Both Nigerians
I’m on pre settled status
Partner has had settled status since 2024
Not married, but been living together since 2023, have a baby together.
Currently hold a bachelors from Nigeria

You wouldn't be eligible for the funding unless you have settled status. Once you do receive this we'll be able to advise on funding.

Is this because durable partnership (if proven) is not recognised by SFE?
Or partner of a person with settled status can’t get funding (even tuition-only support)?
