Sunderland or nothumbria

I am currently looking at studying biomedical science at either Sunderland or nothumbria university but I'm stuck between which to pick as my primary choice as in my eyes they are equal in terms of performance, any discussion around these two universities I've seen are years old so I figured things could have changed.

omg sameee i got an offer to study biomed there, but i'm choosing Northumbria because it's closer to where i live and also i love the environment of it more than sunderland. For me, i like the northumbria as it's located in the centre and newcastle is a good city with many things to do in it unlike sunderland which is a quiter area.

HI,

I can't really help in terms of course-specific stuff, but I can definitely tell you the amazing things Sunderland has to offer a city and a community. If you come from a more rural area, I definitely recommend Sunderland because even though it is a city, there are still quieter areas that aren't super overwhelming. You can also use the metro to get to Newcastle if you really start to crave the big city life. The community at Sunderland is also awesome. I am the captain for the uni's archery team and am a committee member for our esports club as well, and the number of friends I have made through these is amazing. Sunderland is also very easy on the wallet (I don't spend enough time in Newcastle to know how that would compare)
