Hello there!

I'm a first year film production student at Coventry University. While media production is a less niche course I have a joint first year with the media production students at Coventry. This means we share the same classes and modules. Is there anything you would like to know about the course or student life?

Hi there,

I am a current DMU student doing Cyber Security. Although I might not be able to give you deep insights into Media Production at DMU from student perspective, I can definitely signpost you to relevant sources where you can learn more about our Media Production course. Please find the course page here: Media Production BSc (Hons)- with optional placement year. I will try to not repeat the info you can find on the course page, but rather share some cool insights that I think might be relevant.

For example, we have a Demon Media society, which is the university’s media society. It gives students the platform to not only build skills but also give a voice for issues important to them. For example, you can get involved in Radio, podcasts, magazines, and lots of digital content.

We also have a lot of cool things going on, for example DMU-backed film hits the big screen at London Film Festival, DMU media students learning from award winning film-maker, and CLASS OF 2020: DMU experiences earn Tom a national radio spot.
