Heya! just got an email from the DH department at Cambridge about interviews - thought i would share - "Interviews are offered to shortlisted candidates. You should hear by the end of the month if you are offered an interview or not." So looks like the outcome of shortlisting will happen by the end of the month?

Hi! I am still on submitted. Sent in my application on Jan 5. Any idea if all shortlisted applicants get interviewed? Didn't think interviews were mandatory for PhD at CDH

My understanding is that it's not mandatory, offers can be made without an interview, and they might interview some applicants, something similar to what they are doing with MPhil applicants, some are interviewed, some are moved to DP without an interview.
