Film Production At University
Hii, i'm currently looking at doing a undergraduate degree next year in film production and cant decide which Uni I should go to. I have offers from UAL, Portsmouth, Birmingham City (unconditional) and am still waiting on offers for Westminster Uni and BIMM. I want to have a decent student life as well as a good course which will set me up for industry. Is there anyone who can give advice on their experience on this course or knows a bit about the Uni?
Of all your choices Westminster has the best industry links, followed by UAL (assuming it's LCC) - unfortunately they both have the highest cost of living and therefore student life is likely to be a struggle if you're not wealthy.
Portsmouth is screenskills accredited - but then so is BIMM and I've see the quality of some of the BIMM work and I wouldn't recommend it as an option unless you have no other choice
