Woodhouse application chances? Help Pls

Basically I live more than 60 minutes by public transport to woodhouse and its more or less my top option.

My predicted's are:
999999877
(8 in Maths, 7 in Chem and CompSci)

I really like woodhouse, but my area just has really bad links to north London. I'd first have to travel to central and then out to North London.

However by car, it only takes 30 mintes. So for the question asking me to describe my journey by public transport, I just explained that a journey by car/bike is the most effective option for me.

Honestly am I cooked guys?

from what i understand they tend to factor pretty heavily in your distance from the school, since they get flooded with applicants each year. academically you're definitely fine but the journey might make things a bit dodgy. who knows though, maybe you'll get an offer! 😉 good luck <3

you're completely fine. it depends which subjects you want to apply to (stem subjects tend to have a bit of a higher threshold in accepting people) but your journey time is definitely not the deciding factor. your predicted grades are pretty good so far, it depends where exactly you live but i know plenty of people with similar travel journeys to yours- i know people who commute all the way from covent garden. tbh i think it's really dependent on the subjects you've applied for and how other people applying for those subjects do. even if you don't get an offer, just apply on results day and you're pretty likely to get in (lots of people get in this way). they also release more offers like 2 ish weeks after all the initial offers as some people decline theirs
