Uni accommodation options
Hi, I am completing my undergraduate degree in 2026 and will begin postgraduate studies in September, having just accepted a place at the University of York. I have been attending university abroad in the US for three years, so I will be returning home to the UK. I've noticed accommodation is quite pricey on campus. Are there any possible recommendations for websites or general info about finding the right places? I've not really had experience in this, now being back home. Thank you.

In terms of postgraduate accommodation, the best place to look will be our postgradutae accommodation page which is primarily Wentworth College. However, there are other colleges at York that are able to house PG students too - You can found out about them on this page that details College rooms and prices.
Our student vlog channel is also a great place for student to student advice - This video details all the different options! Even though only some accommodation houses PG students, the advice on the process and what to consider is still great
