Best route for Forensic Psychology?

I currently have a undergrad degree in Media, but want a career change. I work Monday-Friday, so full-time. I've looked at Liverpool's psychology conversion course that's online and can get funding from student finance. I know I would need a further Forensic Psychology masters after, but I won't get funding for that.

Basically, my question is, how does anyone get funding for the 2nd masters whilst working full-time in a completely different field?

Any advice would be great! Especially from those who have done this themselves.

Essentially, you either get a scholarship of some sort or you'll have to work to pay for it. You should probably start saving money for it now, if you can manage.

Honestly, getting funding for a second masters is near impossible, or even a scholarship 😭 The only route for forensic without a bps accredited undergraduate is conversion (to secure graduate bps membership) then another masters for stage 1.

I’ve wrote a past post that mentions Liverpool online conversion incase you were looking for any reviews (if it’s still there).

Not sure if you’re local to Liverpool, but have a look at Chester and Hope too x

Have a look if you are eligible for a Conversion course. And make sure the course is accredited by the BPS (not all are). The biggest advantage of a conversion course is that you can do part time and it is cheaper than a BSC, so you may have a chance to pay for it yourself.
