Will I, and when will I receive offers (PPE)

Hi everyone! I'm just wondering what the chances are of me getting offers for PPE and when I should expect to get the offers/hear back?
I applied on October 10th.

GCSE's: 8,8,8,7,7,7,7,6,6
A-Levels: A*A*A, predicted in History, Religious Studies, and Maths respectively
I believe my personal statement was pretty good.

I have applied to: KCL, Warwick, Manchester, and Southampton. (In order of preference)
I also applied to UCL for politics and international relations.
I have received offers back from Manchester and Southampton, but these are my insurance/last choices, so I want to know when I can expect to hear back from KCL, UCL, and Warwick.

I'm mostly concerned about my chances of receiving an offer because of low/lower gcses than most?
Thanks for any help!

Hi, I've just replied to you on another thread with my stats. Your GCSEs are very good and imo you stand a good chance with Warwick and KCL although UCL is much tougher, I was offered KCL I think late April and Warwick early May, rejected by UCL in early May who said that I was unsuccessful due to the high standard or applicants last year. My stats were A*A*A* (maths history, economics) A* achieved in EPQ (Only taken into account with Bath) GCSEs 99988887776, the unis you are waiting to hear back from as notoriously slow with replies!

Okayyy thank you. This has helped ease my mind.
I think now I just need to be more patient, which is hard when I can see other people getting offers for my same unis and course 😭
Fingers crossed I hear back soon with offers. Thanks!!

You're welcome, I remember feeing as you do and was convinced I was going to get rejected as so many of my friends had most of their offers by now, Warwick, UCL and LSE are all incredible slow especially for anything containing Economics, I submitted to UCAS 11 Oct and was hoping that early submission may get some early offers but it was 6-7 months until I heard from Warwick, LSE, UCL & KCL. with my earliest offer being from Bath in late Feb. Late replies definitely doesn't mean a rejection, Your GCSEs are very good and I don't think they will go against you at all! IMO if they didn't like your application you would probably have heard by now

In terms of timing, PPE is a competitive course and replies often come quite late. For Warwick, a lot of people hear back between December and February, so it’s normal not to have news yet.

Your grades aren’t as weak as you think. AAA predictions are strong, especially with Maths included. GCSEs aren’t outstanding, but they’re not unusually low either, and Warwick tends to focus more on A levels and overall profile.

Since you already have offers from Manchester and Southampton, it shows your application is solid. Warwick PPE is competitive, but you’re definitely still in the running.
