Warwick + Kings for Econ and Mangement
Hi, I’ve applied to Warwick and King’s College London for Economics and Management and I’m lowkey just psyched out of my mind waiting for an offer.
I have A*A*A* predicted in Mathematics, Business Studies and Computer Science
My GCSEs are quite weak however, having one 8 (in Maths) five 7s (English Lit + Lang, Business Studies, Combined Science) and the rest 6s
I did the TMUA even though it was optional and I bombed it due to not revising much for it (1.8 ik it’s bad)
Am I cooked or do I have a chance of getting in?

Honestly, I wouldn’t say you’re fully cooked, but it’s normal to feel stressed. Three A* predictions are very strong, especially Maths, which matters a lot for Econ and Management.
Your GCSEs aren’t amazing, but they’re not terrible either, and having an 8 in Maths definitely helps. A levels usually matter more.
TMUA 1.8 isn’t great, but since it’s optional for Warwick, it’s more of a bonus than a requirement. It won’t help, but it doesn’t automatically mean rejection.
Overall, I’d say it’s not guaranteed, but there’s still a chance. At this point, it’s really about waiting and seeing.

I hope so! I saw a couple of offers go out last week based on achieved grades i think. Pls update if anyone hears back this week. Fingers crossed!
