Need help - regarding GCSES
Does it make a difference if I take 9 gcses including english literature or 8 gcses excluding english literature for oxbridge ? For maths related courses . p.s. I'm a home student . thank you!

Yes, it makes a difference, maybe for Ox more so than bridge. An extra 9 in GCSE is an advantage.

OK thank you, my only worry is that english literature takes a lot of time and I'm worried that I will be distracted from my other subjects . Also self teaching english literature is quite rough. I'm not really aiming for oxbridge I prefer universities like imperial ucl and lse but I want to go for a quite competitive course so I guess the same applies for them. Thank you again
