a level subject help

can someone please help me pick my a level combo. I’m not quite certain on what i want to be in the future so i’ve tried to base it off of what i did in gcse and subjects i would like to do. I am interested in maybe looking at degree apprenticeships though.

option 1: psychology, sociology, business
option 2: psychology, sociology, economics
option 3: psychology, business, economics

I have heard that business and economics aren’t the best options to take together however it is still an option for me. I’m also doing sociology and business in gcse hence why i’ve picked them again for a level. Please tell em if any other these are good combos or if you have any other combos/ subjects you would recommend. Thank tou

heyy, I only take sociology out of these options but I know sociology and psychology overlap a decent amount if that's something that could help you decide. As for business/economics, the courses and workloads will differ depending on the exam board you are doing (probably more helpful info out there from people that take the subjects lol) For A level I chose 3 completely new subjects that I hadn't done at GSCE or had any prior knowledge in and its the best decision I ever made!! Unless a course requires a specific previous qualification then you shouldn't be expected to know much. Hope this is at least a little helpful

Maybe try to potentially figure out the type of industry and job sector (e.g agriculture, aerospace, finance, education, healthcare) you want to go into first? This will allow you to narrow it down. From what I hear about your current situation, Option 1 would be the best choice. I also advise against business and Econ due to the significant overlap. However go for what you will actually enjoy not what you currently do at GCSE's!!

Which of the subjects do you enjoy the most and think you will get the best grades in?
I did sociology at both gcse's and a-level and loved it.

Psych, sociology and econ will give you the most options, you should take these 3 to prioritise having a lot of different pathways available when you leave sixth form. Take core maths if it is offered as well
