I did AQA but I think what helped me the most was watching Youtube videos. They basically explain each question and how to structure your answers. Some channels I used were: MrEverythingEnglish, First Rate tutors, Mr Salles, etc. If you search up 'Edexel GCSE english language/literature you should find some good stuff. I know resources are quite limited for Edexel but AQA videos may still help with writing skills and understanding.

Timing is also super important, so practice writing questions under timed conditions and have a specific structure for your paragraphs(e.g, PEEL paragraphs) and plan each question/essay before you start writing so you know exactly what you're doing.

For english literature, I think Physics and Maths tutor website has some pretty good notes, also try other websites and look at model answers online. Also, learn key language/writing language techniques (e.g, personification, metaphors, cyclical structure, etc) and memorise/learn good vocabulary.

Also, I'm not exactly sure what edexel paper is like but, when writing essays/stories don't overthink it. For example, when I wrote my story/descriptive question I just wrote about being in a French lesson but I filled each paragraph with like at least two writing techniques, punctuation, and good vocabulary and I described as much as a I could.

Honestly, don't stress too much, you still have time to improve your grade a lot. Hope this helped, feel free to ask any specific questions 🙂

(BTW- I went from getting 5's to getting 7/8s in the real thing)
