Was wondering whether to do mech eng undergrad at Trinity college compared to uni of bristol or nottingham as i have heard tcd graduates get paid more

Don't rely on hearsay. Decide the uni based on facts - course modules, student life etc. Your prospect upon graduation depends on your own capabilities, not that of past graduates - even if past graduates from TCD ctually paid more than the other unis. Good luck.

I really don’t think there is a significant reputation or career benefit to any of them, Trinity might have some reputational advantages in Ireland specifically but Ireland also doesn’t have anywhere near the same amount of mechanical engineering industrial opportunities as mainland UK, and employers by and large no longer use campus recruitment (other than advertising), as such university preference doesn’t really exist any more (and certainly not small reputational differences).
