Alevel choices assistance

Can I do two alevels and a btec?
My current alevel choices are history,English lit and health&social care. I’m passionate about going into teaching or nursing (midwifery or child ward).
I want to change history or literature to applied science level 3 btec. Is this a good scenario?

Check the specific entry requirements for Nursing etc and Teaching, including GCSEs etc - and be aware that you will need 'relevant experience' to have a realistic chance of an interview / offer for these sort of vocational courses.

Its also worth looking at related degree subjects such as :
Childhood Studies | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol
Psychology in Education (BSc) - Undergraduate, University of York
Public Health, BSc | University of Greenwich, London
Health Sciences Degree BSc | University of Northampton

Id check the uni courses on unis websites to see what they specify (subjects/qualification wise). This will help you decide.

Hi,

As mentioned above, it’s best to check individual entry requirements on university websites for the courses you’re interested in.

Hope this helps,
