what would look good for uni application for dentistry?

I'm currently in yr 12 and i will need to do my uni applications next year. I'm applying for dentistry so I also have the early applications. I want to have a few things to put on my application so any suggestions are good ones! I already have work experience in dentistry and over the summer I am volunteering at an animal shelter, so any more recommendations would be good!

Read all the info here - Dentistry - studying healthcare - also, a useful Mooc - free online course - Study Dentistry: How to Become a Dentist - Dentistry Course - FutureLearn - and its also worth going to Uni Open Days coming up in May/June and finding out exactly what Unis are looking for in your application.

You’re actually in a really strong position already. Dentistry work experience is the big one, so that’s great. If you can, try to get some shadowing in different dental settings (e.g., NHS vs. private or orthodontics). Healthcare volunteering or care home work is also useful to show patient care skills. Reading around dentistry, attending webinars/open days, and reflecting on what you’ve learned will really help your personal statement. Manual skills (art, instruments, crafts) are worth mentioning too. Focus on reflecting well rather than doing loads more.
