Returner accommodation uni of Bristol

Hey, due to circumstances in first year I'm suspending my studies at uni of Bristol. I'm quite scared as when applying for 1st year accoms again you are classed as returner and therefore are not prioritised and run risk of not getting accom/ whatever is left. Does anyone have any guidance of how likely it is I will get an accom, if I can switch etc, or how their experience was as a returner at Bristol getting accom. (Not going through private, only uni ones).

When I was in first year there were defintely cases of people switching accoms - you do have to make a case for it though. spaces open up in term 2 from international students leaving after doing semester abroad. If you make the case you're unhappy where you are, they will try to accomodate that request.
