Oxford MSc Clinical and Therapeutic Neuroscience 2026

Hi everyone, I’m a psychology student from Australia, having completed my undergraduate degree (average 78%), Honours (85%), and Master’s (75%), and I’m hoping to apply for this course.

I’m quite confused about the entry requirements and how grades are calculated. I’ve noticed that some applicants with a 2:1 classification were accepted, which according to search corresponds to around 60–69%. However, I’ve also seen information suggesting that the minimum entry requirement is a GPA of 3.5/4.0, which would be equivalent to above 85%.

Could someone kindly clarify how the equivalency works (out of 100)?

Hello,
I have applied to this course for 2026-2027, I submitted my application on 20th October and it went into RFA the same day it has been around 7 weeks since then and the application deadline just closed. I am really scared. It’s been so exhausting would love to hear the experience of all the others who have applied for the course.

Nothing since 20th of October 😭! They are on Christmas vacation till 5th jan so nothing till then!

All interviews have been sent out for Neuroscience. Probably applies to CT Neuro too.

That could be the case. I am not sure if they are doing it by departments as Neuroscience is under a different department to Clinical and Therapeutic Neuroscience. CTN is under the department of Psychiatry.
