Student finance - equivalent or lower qualification (ELQ) degree
Hello. In September 2025, I enrolled in a part-time ELQ course at Birkbeck College for a BSc in Computing. I hold another undergraduate diploma from Birkbeck. I thought that I should be eligible to receive both a tuition fee loan and a maintenance loan if I am enrolled in a part-time ELQ degree program, despite the fact that I have already completed an undergraduate degree. Nevertheless, the Student Finance system informed me that I was ineligible to apply for financing because I had already previously completed undergraduate studies. Please help.
