LJMU Applicant Days: What to Expect

If you’ve received an offer from LJMU, an Applicant Day is your chance to experience your course, meet staff and students, and explore the campus and city before making your decision.

What are Applicant Days?

They’re designed for offer-holders and give you a more in-depth look at your chosen course and what student life at LJMU is really like.

What you’ll do:

Attend a subject taster session

Meet course tutors

Chat with current students about their experiences

Explore campus and facilities

Visit accommodation options

Take a city tour

Speak to student services (finance, careers, placements, internships, societies, sport, study abroad & more)

How do I book?

You can book via the Applicant Hub once you’ve received an offer from LJMU.

Upcoming Applicant Days:

Wednesday 4 March

Monday 16 March (Nursing Applicant Day)

Saturday 28 March

Saturday 18 April

What should I look out for on the day?

Does the course content genuinely excite you?

Do current students seem happy and supported?

Can you see yourself living and studying in Liverpool?

Top tip: walk the routes between accommodation, campus buildings, and the city centre this will be part of your daily routine.

Do I need to prepare anything?

You’ll receive full details and a schedule by email before the day. It’s worth reviewing this in advance and noting the time and location of your subject session, plus any questions you want to ask.

After your visit, jot down what stood out and how you felt it can really help when deciding which university is right for you.

Good luck, and enjoy your Applicant Day!
