I study Medicine and I completed an intercalated degree here (BSc Medical Sciences Research). I found that my intercalated degree was both enjoyable and useful, and helped expand my knowledge and critical thinking skills beyond the Medicine degree, so I can see why you're interested in intercalating too!🙂 This being said, I am unsure whether dental students have the same intercalation opportunities as medical students or whether they are slightly different. I would recommend contacting the Dentistry course team about this to see what would be available to you as a prospective dental student- you can do so here via enquiry form, online chat, or phone call. 😊
In regards to interview prep, I found it useful to think about what questions you would ask someone if you were interviewing for Dentistry, and ensure you can answer them. Key things that could be asked of you in any course interview would be such as your motivation for the course, any relevant skills you have, and reflection on any work/ personal experience that you have done.
