Accounting and Finance help

I've currently gotten 3 offers,
Accounting and Finance at
Royal Holloway (ABB)
City St Georges, Uni of London (AAA)
Queen Mary University of London (AAA)
I've also applied to Kings College London Accounting and Finance (A*AA) but yet to recieve a decision.
Out of these 3 courses that ive got offers to, which should I firm. I currently live in London, but will be moving to student accom when I go to uni, so the areas of the unis also need to be taken into account for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey! Have you heard back from Kings yet? I applied towards the end of November and haven’t heard back! Getting a little worried now!

In terms of which one you should firm, I’d say defo go with QMUL as they have a good reputation for A&F, however, City is also a great option too as they have their own Bayes Business School that have their own thing. I say go to their offer days and see which one appeal to you most! If I were you I’d go for QMUL

Hello,

Congratulations on your offers! I’m really glad to hear you’re considering City St George's University of London. My name is Yulia and I’m a second-year Psychology student. Nice to meet you!
For the past two years I’ve been living in student accommodation that’s about a 7-minute walk from the campus, so I thought I could share a bit about the area from my experience.
City St George’s is located in central London, which is a huge advantage for students because you’re surrounded by professional organisations, businesses, and cultural places. There’s always something happening in central London, so once you step outside you can never be bored. There are lots of coffee shops, pubs, libraries, and parks nearby, and there are always events, exhibitions, and activities happening not only at the university but around the area as well.
The area is also really well connected. Stations like Angel, Farringdon, and Old Street are all nearby, which makes it easy to get around London.
So far I’m really enjoying living here and studying in this area. If you have any specific questions about the area, feel free to ask I’d be happy to help! Also, have you been to an open day yet? I think it’s one of the best ways to see the campus and explore the area yourself.
I hope this helps a little!

Hi @elixirty83,

Congratulations on receiving your offers, that’s great news 🎉

When it comes to deciding which offer to firm, it’s really about finding the best fit for you whether that’s the course content, teaching style, campus environment or location. At Royal Holloway, our Accounting and Finance course is designed to give you a strong foundation in both theory and practical skills, with opportunities to gain exemptions from professional accounting bodies. You'll acquire the skills, knowledge and experience which will make you attractive to employers and prepare you for your future career.

Our campus is based in Egham, which has a friendly, community feel and is only about 40 minutes from central London, so you get the best of both worlds! If you can, we'd recommend visiting us at one of our upcoming events. Experiencing the atmosphere in person and chatting with some of our current students can really help you picture where you’d feel happiest and most supported. Whatever you decide, you’ve got some great options ahead 🙂

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Best wishes,
Royal Holloway, University of London Official Rep
