King's Rejection

So i got rejected from king's today. I was going to withdraw earlkier any way because someone told me you can't reapply to a place you were rejected by, so i was gonna withdraw to save it for clearing in the future but i completely forgot. Is this true? I'm seeing some people online saying you can reapply in clearing, some people say it depends why you get rejected, but nothing really says an outright no.
I got rejected for grades, so it will be fine if my grades go up in the end right?
I only applied because why not anyway, i didnt expect an acceptance, I knew my grades would be low but I expected them to increase enough by the real exams, which they have been getting better. I looked at the actual King's site too, i can't find anything there
This was the update I got:

Your application has been unsuccessful

Thank you for your application to King's.

Your application has now been carefully considered and we regret to inform you that you have been unsuccessful in obtaining a place on the programme.
The reason for this was: Unfortunately, your predicted grades do not meet the entry requirements for this programme therefore we are unable to consider your application any further

Please do not submit another application for this programme cycle, as this will automatically be withdrawn.

The 'Please do not submit another application for this programme cycle, as this will automatically be withdrawn.' part worries me
Is the course closed on UCAS now? If so, it’s very, very unlikely to be available in clearing regardless of their policy on reapplications.

That aside, I’d wager the above only applies to reapplying during the main cycle though, not clearing.

You can apply through clearing if you were rejected, although depending on why you were rejected you may just be rejected again for the same reason. In this case if you achieve grades that meet the entry criteria and the course is in clearing I see no reason why you wouldn't be considered. The same applies also for reapplying in a gap year.
