Anglia Ruskin University - Biomedical science course

Hi, I’m an A-level student looking to apply to universities this year. I was hoping if anyone studying there could give me some advice about the biomedical science course at Anglia Ruskin University. I’m curious to know if the course is well-regarded and if the professors offer good support.

Hi there,

Great to see you’re starting to look at options now! Are there any other courses you are interested in? What A-Levels are you studying?

As for Biomedical Science at ARU, it’s based at our Cambridge campus and IBMS and RSB accredited, which is a big plus if you’re thinking about a biomedical science career. Have you visited us at an Open Day? If not, we’d recommend coming onto campus and viewing the 200-seater SuperLab and other facilities. You can also chat with our lecturers about how they help students progress, for example into real clinical or research roles.

We’ve also got student content to give you a peek into their thoughts and their studying:
🧑*🔬 Day in the life of Biomedical Science students: https://youtu.be/4TfSm0IJg4M
🧑*🔬 Your career after Biomedical Science: https://youtu.be/q3hZhgiq6to

If you’re looking to speak with a member of the Bio Med team, send us a message and I can pass this on for you. Otherwise, feel free to chat with our Admissions team about entry requirements and the application process:
📞 01245 686868
📧 [email protected]

And I’ll tag our ARU Students and ARU Graduate account for them to share their thoughts and opinions 😊

Let us know any queries and best of luck!

Many thanks,
Jemma
