Gateway to medicine

I’m an applicant to gateway to medicine at Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and St Andrews. I meet the academic requirements and widening access requirements. When do offers and for the ones that do interview, interview dates usually get issued?

Hey I received my gateway 2 medicine interview for St Andrews on the 14/01/26, had my interview on 23/01/26 and I received my offer yesterday. Hopefully that gives you a rough estimate of timings , well of which I experienced, let me know if you want any tips!

Yeah Glasgow was good. Based on what I’ve seen on the internet it was pretty much the same as a normal medicine interview and the interviewers were really friendly

I've heard nothing from Glasgow, have they sent rejectioms? And people who haven't been rejected yet are on the interview list? Does getting an interview mean that you meet academic requirements?

Anyone had anything from unis?

Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. I can't speak for other universities but we hope to conduct our interviews in April and so should hopefully be sending out our invites by late March. We have a bit of information on the timeline here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/smmsn/undergraduate/g2m/entry-requirements/#Interview
I realise this is still a bit of a wait yet but I hope that this is useful to know!

Only communication I’ve received from any university was my invitation to my Glasgow interview. I’ve done it now and I’m yet to hear anything else

I was wondering what kind of work experience everybody has done? I’ve done a week in a hospital, lots of voluntary work with disabled kids, online work experience, medic insight day and week at edinburgh and a few calls with st andrews and aberdeen via reach ,and was just wondering what everybody else had done
