HNC to Year 2 Uni Entry (or uni's that will accept HNC's)
Hi,
Currently studying a Level 4 HNC in Civil Engineering. I want to apply for uni, but I'm not sure which uni's accept HNC's. I could do a HND, but the colleges that offer HND's are far away from me and hard to travel to. Plus, I would prefer to go to university anyway.
I also have A-level's in Maths, Physics, and Design Tech (DDC). I would prefer a London Uni, but I am willing to travel as far as Brighton, Portsmouth, Outer Surrey, etc.
Someone please help me out! Please tell me if you know any uni's that accept HNC's for second-year entry! Or any colleges in London that teach HND's !

Search for Unis that offer "top up" degrees - these are designed for those with HNCs.
Example : Civil Engineering and Construction Management (Top-Up) | University of Portsmouth
Even if "top up" isn't specifically offered, its always worth just emailing or phoning Unis, explaining your background/qualifications and asking about 2nd year entry. Brighton is especially known for its expertise in Civil Eng - Civil Engineering BEng(Hons) and definitely worth a phone call.
