Durham - Accounting and Finance GCSE Requirements

Hello,
Is Durham heavy on GCSE grades?? I want to apply with achieved A Level Grades but I'm a bit worried that my GCSE's aren't that high. I got the following:
8776666544
and I'm doing a level Chemistry, Biology and Psychology
If I do get the achieved A level grades of AAB-AAA how likely am I to get an offer?
note: I'm non-contextual and got a 6 in maths and 5/4 in English language/literature

Hello!

Although I don't know exactly what goes on in the Admissions office, what I do know is that the university takes a holistic approach when it comes to making a decision on applications. I know - having been in your position - how perfectionist we can become when it comes to our application but don't worry about what you aren't exactly perfect in and instead focus on making the rest of your application as strong as possible! The university considers your entire application and if your personal statement, predicted grades, recommendation letter is really strong, then you have as good a chance as any to get in! So don't worry! Try your best and remember you lose 100% of the shots you don't take!

Hope this helps!

As your GCSE’s aren’t amazing I’d wait till you get AAB (min) in those three A levels which will outrank your average gcse grades.
Unless you’re predicted AAA not sure you are strong enough to get an offer. If you look on ucas website you can see the achieved grades of students who have gone to do this course. I think most are around the AAA mark.
The maths on this course is similar to a level maths. I’m not sure a 6 at gcse signals you have the brain for it - at Durham at any rate. It’s a very popular uni and many apply with better grades than the stated standard offer there.
