Manchester vs Nottingham for High Finance

I'm a year 13 student looking to break into High Finance and I was wondering how big of a difference there is going to Nottingham or Manchester for high finance. I've wanted to go to Manchester for a while because I really like the university but I know that it can be deemed as a Low semi target or sometimes a non target. Compared to Nottingham, which I also quite like the university for and I know it is considered more of a high semi target and that they do well for internships etc. I just wanted to know how big the difference between going to the two universities is for my job prospects.

Hi @lusty-gambler,

In terms of job prospects information for courses here at the University of Nottingham, all our course web pages have a careers section towards the bottom of the page which is really handy for careers overview / advice, graduate destinations and job prospects. There are often facts and figures on starting salaries etc which may also be handy to review.

We have a Careers and Employability service available to our students, who can provide advice on employability skills, assist with job applications and search for related work experience for you. We also host events with a view to bringing you closer to a wide range of prospective employers.

Hope that is of use.

All the best ^-^
