Philosophy AQA A-Level Paper 1 and 2- 2026 Possible Questions

Hi everyone! does anybody have any ideas of what topics may possibly come up in the 2026 papers? I've tried to ask my teacher but she's not very helpful, and I'd much rather be aware of any questions that could/couldn't come up.

i think while it could definitely be possible, it would definitely be very taxing. philosophy is one of the hardest alevels because theres so much content and necessary reading that you have to do, and for the aqa exam board having just the necessary knowledge without evaluation and analysis will get you a C. I think if you want to you should do it! but keep in mind that it would be quite difficult and take up a lot of time that you could be using to revise your other subjects, which are also very difficult

I don't think it's advisable to try and do the whole A level in 3 months alongside 3 other A levels. Maybe if it was the only one you had to focus on a B could be possible in that time. Maybe.

Hello!!
I'm not a teacher but based on previously asked questions, I think these are what most likely to come up (you can use these as a way to begin your revision but don't entirely rely on these as the definitive topics because ANYTHING could come up and you must be prepared for absolutely everything for the exam.

for essays:
EPI: maybe intuition + deduction thesis? or one of the theories of perception (direct, idealism)
MORAL PHIL: maybe an applied ethics essay or a meta-ethics essay.

GOD: maybe the concept of god or ontological arguments
MIND: substance dualism / property dualism (has never come up separate)

for knowledge questions it could be anything. Maybe something like compare and contrast paley's and swinburne's design argument (12 marks) for metaphysics of god?

do be prepared for lots of compare and contrast questions and differences between theories because AQA has been doing this the past few years.

No but honestly, be prepared for anything, absolutely anything!! expect the unexpected. ensure you practice your essays regularly and your AO1 questions. please remember that if you get full marks in all knowledge questions so for e.g. 3, 5, 12 markers and then you get something like 15 or above in the essays, it would still give you a strong A grade.
