I’ve not had a full nights sleep since September

My radiator is too loud I have talked to my landlord about it for months now and he won’t do anything but drain it when it doesn’t need draining because he drains it every week as if it will fit the problem. I’ve not been able to get a full nights sleep because of it.
It takes me about 2 hours to wind down with a book because I can hear it through ear plugs I then wake up about 3 hours after going to sleep.
After speaking to different landlords when doing house viewings for next year he is notorious for not looking after his properties and I was advised to contact the council
He had to do a check of the house yesterday because of them and the only thing he is going to do is put an extra plug in my room and put a shared thermostat in the hallway instead of the one at the boiler because some people set that to 80 degrees for some reason. I actually cannot live like this anymore I need advice

Hello,

I am really sorry you have to go through this, there is nothing worse than living in an inconvenient place. Have you reported it to the council? I recommend you to do so as soon as possible. Neglecting tenants and vital issues in the property may lead to health and safety issues. If no change happens after reporting it to the council, consider moving out.
