Student finance not recieved

I changed bank account last minute when already transferred the payment to my old account and money hasn’t arrived in my old account bank says no money has arrived student finance says it’s paid now slc has put grace memo which can take 6 weeks but not guaranteed is there anyone else had same issue If money didn’t go to any other account and neither in mine what’s going to happen with this how long does it takes trace memo how this works if bank advices it was never transferred to our side what’s going to happen?

By last minute, do you mean less than four working days to your scheduled payment?

I've also asked an SFE/SLC advisor to look at this thread.

Hi there,

If you have changed your bank details 4 working days before your payment was due it would have went to your old account. If this account is closed we will need to wait on your bank sending this money back to us, before it will show as failed on your online account.
