Student finance second degree

Hello,
I have a 2:1 degree in psychology Bsc (Hons).
I have worked in pharmacy for 9 years now and would like to do Mpharm. Is it possible to get student finance for a second degree?

Hi Ellieellert,

You should be eligible for the Postgraduate Loan or Doctorate loan if you do not hold an equal level qualification and meet all other standard eligibility criteria. Can you confirm the university and course name that you are interested in please?

MPharm (Hons) Pharmacy At Wolverhampton university would be the course I would apply to.

Hi Ellieellert,

As this is an integrated masters, it is considered undergraduate, therefore you would not be eligible for support as Pharmacy is not an exception to previous study and equal level qualification rules. If you consider doing a stand alone masters degree, you would be eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Loan for an eligible course as it is a higher level of support.

Thanks, Clare
