When should I start my TMUA Prep?

Hi I'm a Year 12 student who's currently doing Maths, Further Maths and Physics and have seen TMUA past papers last summer when I was a year 11 waiting for my GCSEs results. I have been procrastinating since and never touched another paper after that because I could only do 1 question in 20 minutes at that time and the paper just scares me in general. Is it too late to prepare for it now? I believe the exam would be in 9 months.

P.S. is there any efficient ways with preparing for it? Any help appreciated and thanks for taking the time to read this :3

I did basically all of my revision in a month and a bit, and had no problems, so you don't need to be putting hours in a day for months or anything crazy. I would recommend doing a few of the papers in May-August to get used to the structure and the timing. Also make sure you know everything in the notes on logic, and any tricks r2drew2 has mentioned in his videos.

I started about 2 weeks before and got a 6.0 but I did feel a bit rushed maybe over the summer holidays

6.0 with 2 weeks of revision? That's so good how did you manage that score in a short period of time and how did you schedule your revision on it?

Tbf I didn't find the tmua to hard I used a website called tmua.fyi to learn some content and then I just did past papers I did some mat but the ukmt wasn't very helpful. It's all about learning a different way of thinking

I heard to do it during summer holidays as there are limited resources. And a Warwick admission officer to practice understanding how to answer instead of practicing it timed. She also said you can use MAT to help but it won’t be the same.

Hi, I started yr13 this month (intl student). Did u start tmua yet and how are u finding it? I'm confused on where to start. Should I start by learning all topics individually and doing sums specifically on those topics before doing past papers and such?
