Sutton Trust for Warwick

I am currently in year 12, studying economics, geography and maths, I really want to do a summer school at warwick, so I am thinking of PPE, or imperial, and doing EFDS. I was just wondering what choice would be better to pick; what is easier to get into; and what would be the best choice if I wanted to economics at Warwick, E&F at Bristol, Econ at Durham, etc.

Somewhere on the Sutton Trust website, there's a chart detailing at which universities you would receive a reduced offer for taking part in the summer school. This might help you decide, as doing it at one university could potentially be accepted by more universities than another.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. 😊

If your long term goal is Economics or PPE at Warwick, doing Sutton Trust at Warwick is already a good signal. It’s less about which one is “easier” and more about how well it fits your interests.

PPE can sometimes be slightly broader than pure Economics, as it looks at overall academic interest rather than just maths heavy profiles. If you’re leaning towards Economics later, PPE still makes sense as a summer school choice.

What matters most with Sutton Trust is the experience and insight you gain. Having Warwick specific exposure can be useful if you apply there later.

If you’re still unsure about your direction, choosing something aligned with your future uni plans is usually the safer move.
