Northumbria (Newcastle) Portfolio Guidelines

I'm a bit confused since I think I've been given an offer from Northumbria University already, but I still need to upload my portfolio. However, the guidelines say it has to be 15 pages (with 3 other pages being other work, and one with a design statement). I have a total of 26 pages (since UAL and other universities have wider guidelines and want to see more developmental work with research). I'm now really stuck on whether I should break it or not. I've asked the admissions team, and they haven't gotten back to me yet... I've seen the examples in the document, and they don't involve user research or context (in text) at all. My portfolio has a good amount of user research/research in general and providing context, so I was wondering if sending in my portfolio of 26 pages is okay?
