Cambridge August pool
My Child received a rejection yesterday, but have been told they will be in the August consideration pool.
Has anyone been in this situation before and can offer an insight into what they can expect? Realistic chances of still getting a place, is it based on original college application or any college with a space.

Any college with a space. About 10% of people accepted go through this pool if I remember correctly. I can't accurately speak to the chances of being accepted through this pool though.
