Reapplying to Cambridge for Lit
As with many, I didn’t get an offer for English lit at Cambridge on Wednesday. I think my school and parents would heavily discourage me from reapplying, but it’s definitely something I’m considering and will think more about when I receive feedback from the college I applied to. Most people I’ve seen asking about reapplying are STEM applicants, so I was wondering whether anyone had any perspective on reapplying to humanities subjects?
My other offers are UEA, Warwick, Birmingham, and Newcastle, so I’m not particularly worried about not getting offers if I go through UCAS again. Has anyone got any success stories for humanities reapplications? If I did, I would probably spend my gap year doing more work experience and entering various competitions, stuff I had already done but I would hopefully go into more detail.
