I haven’t heard anything yet. I got an email saying they will finalise interview invitations by the end of today…this is Queen Mary. Eagerly waiting.

Rejected. Btw did you get an email specifically from Barts Cancer Institute? Because when I was writing my application, I sort of kept my options open for both Barts and William Harvey as my understanding of the program wasn’t that it was necessarily at Barts. I have a background in cancer biology actually but I also worked on inflammation so I kept my options open in my personal statement, which makes me wonder if it was an error now 🥲 but it also wasn’t very clear?? Anyway, just thinking about next year if I end up applying again…

Yes, it was from Barts. I focused on groups at Barts in my personal statement, but also kept it quite open to cancer biology and immunology. I'm applying as home student btw.

I see, thanks. Yeah, when I read about the program it kind of didn’t seem like it had to be Barts so I am confused...Maybe that’s not it then. But it does seem Barts focused if invitation came from them. I wonder if I am the only one confused by the website then! I am international.

In my interview, the panel told me that they will make decisions "within a week". Given that last Thursday was the last day of interviews, and the weekend probably does not count, we still have until Friday for them to make decisions.

yes the panel said to me i would hear by next week aswell. i’d assume tomorrow or friday will probably be the day.. hopefully tomorrow so that the suspense can be over😭😭
