Accommodation recommendations needed for Newcastle
Hey, I received a conditional offer from Newcastle University for pharmacy. I'm looking for accommodation but I'm struggling to pick. I want an en suite room but not too expensive, also close to campus if possible.

Hey, I just wanted to ask a question about how long after your Newcastle interview, did you got an offer? I just had mine recently and it has been week, did they just update ucas or send you an email?.

I had the interview on 10/12/2025 and received an offer on 23/12/2026.

Congratulations on your offer to study Pharmacy! I'm so glad you're thinking of joining us next year!
Accommodation can be a huge part of your experience and, understandably, it's a big decision to make when choosing where to live for a year. What's great is that the majority of our accommodation options offer en-suite rooms including Kensington Terrace, Wellington St Plaza and Windsor Terrace. All of our accommodations are within a 20-minute walk of campus so you're never too far away from your lecture buildings or social activities.
Since you are wanting to study Pharmacy, you will be based in our Medical School therefore Kensington Terrace may be a great option for you! You can share with around 7 people to up to 17 people (depending on how busy you want your flat to be!) and the walk would only be around 10 minutes. If you're wanting more of a scenic walk to campus, you could choose to stay in Wellington St Plaza which is right next to the football stadium St James' Park. Your walk to campus could pass through either the city centre or through the gorgeous Leazes Park. Wellington St Plaza is slightly cheaper than Kensington Terrace which is also a factor to consider but you can learn more about our accommodation options on our website here: Our Accommodation | Accommodation | Newcastle University
