KCL Accommodation

hey does anyone know when kcl accommodation bookings open?
also, anyone who's been through the booking process, what is it like? can you book an exact room or is it random?

Not sure when it opens but last year I was able to choose the exact room but as I didn't get my offer until late April nearly all the cheaper/closer halls were gone, I choose the cheapest ensuite available but that was still close to £13500/year!

Yes, the price is shocking but that was all that was available, Stamford street is much cheaper as are a few of the others and if you already have an offer than you should get a better choice as it's still early. I got Julian Markham House, the only other accommodation available was Canada Water which was about the same price but miles further out. you can change your accommodation once so I checked daily to see if anything else came up but it didn't. I didn't end up going to KCL as I just missed out on the grades (They want A*AA, I got AAA) so am now at Bath, in fact I am happy I didn't get KCL as Bath is an amazing uni in a beautiful city
