You aren't dumb. A level physics is universally known as a hard A level, so don't sweat it. First and foremost, develop a strong understanding of concepts. I recommend doing this by explaining a concept verbally to someone - that could be anyone, and a friend would be better in my opinion because you're more comfortable with them. Secondly, it's quite hard to pinpoint where exactly you're struggling without knowing your strengths and weaknesses. Are you struggling with written questions? Calculations? Converting units? Rearranging equations? Finding links between equations? You have to identify these yourself and be extremely honest in your own ability; that will allow you to work on your weaknesses. You're already halfway there by doing appropriate exam questions, but when you do them, try to really understand why the markscheme got to the answer the way they did. Even better, save all these questions somewhere and reattempt them at a later date to see if you still have it in you. Finally, you could use something like Isaac Physics to practice your problem solving. Hope this helped.
