Glasgow or Edinburgh Law School

Hi! I have places to go to Glasgow + Edinburgh for law. Currently I live in Glasgow. I just wanted to know what people thought was better!
Moving out and uni experience is really important to me, but obviously moving out to Edinburgh would be really expensive.
Graduate prospects and career opportunities are also very important to me, I think Glasgow is higher ranked for Law in Scotland however Edinburgh is much better for international recognition. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi there, yes i went to Glasgow for my biology undergrad but i am doing a masters elsewhere now!
Hi, huge congrats on both offers! That is a massive result and quite a decision to choose from.
One of the biggest advantages of Glasgow is the choice. UofG offers both a Scots Law LLB and a Common Law LLB. If you have any interest in practicing in England, Wales, or internationally (like in the US or Canada), the Common Law route at Glasgow is a huge asset. Even if you stick to Scots Law, Glasgow is currently ranked in top 10 in UK. I would also recommend checking the course modules from both the institutions before making a decision. As one or the other might sound more interesting. Let me know if you have any other questions. Also, it is worth checking out the this blog post from one of our law student : https://www.gla.ac.uk/study/studentlife/askastudent/?unibuddy=blog/post/5f2ef5f5a32b6d3d7dea5eb3 or this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXg6XM04iyQ
Best of Luck!
