Split exam series and predicted grades

Hi everyone,

I’m thinking of sitting Business and Psychology in the upcoming April–May series, but delaying my Art & Design A2 component (portfolio/final assessment) to the October–November series so I can have more time to develop my portfolio.

I wanted to ask:
1. Is it generally acceptable to have two final A-Level grades and one predicted grade when applying to universities?
2. Are there any potential issues or concerns with universities regarding split-series exams?
3. Has anyone else done something similar, and how did it affect their applications?
